How Neon Signs Are Made?
The neon signs are made of glass tubes and curved according to the customer's needs, obtaining specific shapes and even neon signs font for the names of the business or company. These specialized manufacturing techniques, depending on the extent to which they vary, generate different results.
The glass tubes filled with a gas that generates light when a specific amount of electricity applied to it, produces a type of color that stands out in dark places. The variations in colors depending on the voltages of the transformer used to bring electrical energy to the tube. In addition to length, diameter does matter for the sign was made to work in low or high voltage. This is the case with all of our led signs.
Gas Pressure Inside
Another critical factor is the pressure with which the gas is handled inside the tube since this can achieve a maximum of thirteen main chromatic variations. However, these modifications require a greater budgetary investment than the conventional one.
In more precise words, the electricity passes through the metal transformers from the tube, which sealed at each end. Applying a certain amount of voltage causes the gas to ionize, causing the electrons to flow through the gas. These electrons activate the neon atoms (gas) and make them emit the light that you can in them.
Other Features of Neon Signs
At VERVE HOUSE, there are lots of equipment and tools necessary to manufacture neon signs of the highest quality; need full skills for such work. One of the most critical and detailed processes is working with glass tubes, which can be curved to form letters and borders. That neon is the most widely used gas; other types of gases are introduced into the tubes, generating a particular color. For example, helium produces yellow light, mercury emits blue light, and carbon dioxide gives white light while neon emits the classic red light. Our LED sign process has been a focal point to our success over the last few years.
We pride ourselves in our production process, including our diligent post order process, because simply, once the order is complete, the journey still continues to ensuring our amazing customers receive their custom neon sign. We speak about our process more throughout our site.

LED Neon Signs - Ease Of Use
One of the major factors people are unsure or hesitant prior to buying an LED sign is the question of how to hang it, where to hang it, amongst many more questions surrounding it! This is common because many people wish to buy LED signs, but perhaps live in rented accommodation, student accommodation, or even in homes they do not want to damage the walls to.
This is why we produce Neon flex signs - a sign that (unless glass), avoids the issue of fragility when being hung. Alongside this, the weight of the sign is significantly lighter, meaning you can simply use command hooks across the sign (please contact us for advice on how to do this) - meaning you do not have to damage the walls at all.
Another common frustrating is not wanting wires in or around the neon sign or, there not being a main power supply in the room or near by. No panic, VERVE HOUSE stands as one of the only suppliers of battery powered signs AND mains powered signs, avoiding the issue completely. Please contact us for more information on battery powered signs here.
New to this? No problem!
We understand that the majority of people are completely new to Neon signs, its completely taken off over the past few years, so we can understand why its something that people want and need to know more about.
